Naleemiah Institute of Islamic Studies Welcomes His Eminence Sheikh Afeefuddin Al-Jailani

Naleemiah’s Rector, Usthaz A.C. Agar Mohamed, warmly welcomed Sheikh Afeefuddin Al-Jilani highlighting the institute’s commitment to embracing scholars from diverse backgrounds and experiences. During his address, Usthaz Agar Mohamed emphasised that Naleemiah Institute has been a welcoming space for eminent scholars like Dr. Fazlur Rahman Ansari, Moulana Abul Hasen Nadawi, Shaykh Mohamed Al-gazzali, Shaykh Abduhu Yamani, and Shaykh Abu Bakr Mashoor, fostering a culture of intellectual growth and enrichment.

Furthermore, he elaborated on the institution’s ‘Manhaj’, emphasising its dedication and efforts towards unifying the Ummah in its diversity and promoting love, affection, and mutual understanding among all sects and sections of the community.

Sheikh Afeefuddin Al-Jailani delivered an enlightening special speech, emphasising the pursuit of knowledge and the essential qualities of a true knowledge seeker. He highlighted the virtue of ‘Ihlas,’ pure intention and devotion, in one’s quest for knowledge, leaving an indelible mark on the audience.

In addition, His Eminence appreciated Jamiah’s efforts in the field of education and knowledge, endorsing its vision and mission for unifying the Ummah despite differences.

The event, held at the Naleemiah Auditorium, witnessed the participation of both the lecturers and the students of Naleemiah.
