The inaugural session of the ‘From the Heart of a Naleemi’ life talk series took place at the Naleemiah auditorium on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
Usthaz Ash-Sheikh A.C. Agar Mohamed, the Rector of the Naleemiah Institute of Islamic Studies, commenced the event with opening remarks, emphasising the significance of life talks in nurturing the ambitions of current students.
The esteemed guest speaker, Ash-Sheikh N.M.M. Mifly (Naleemi) M.A., retired Deputy Commissioner General of the Inland Revenue Department, graced the stage, sharing a treasure trove of experience and wisdom. His insights offered a rare glimpse into the journey of an accomplished alumnus.
The event was attended by both academic and non-academic staff members of Naleemiah, as well as the members of the Central Executive Committee of Rabitha An-Naleemiyyeen, and students.
This programme heralds the start of a series designed to bridge generational gaps, providing present students with a unique opportunity to draw inspiration from the experiences and accomplishments of esteemed alumni. Through ‘From the Heart of a Naleemi,’ the institute strives to foster a spirit of aspiration and learning that transcends time.
This programme is organised by the Extracurricular Activities Unit of Naleemiah in cooperation with Rabitha An- Naleemiyyeen (Alumni Association of Naleemiah Institute).
