‘Meelad Day’ Special Session at Naleemiah Institute
A special session took place at Jamiah Naleemiah Masjid to mark the occasion of ‘Meelad Day’.
The session featured an interview conducted by Ash-sheikh S.L.M. Hassan, a lecturer at the Institute, with the Rector of the Naleemiah Institute, Usthaz A.C. Agar Mohamed. During this insightful interview, Usthaz Agar emphasised our duties towards Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon Him).
This session served as an insightful platform for the institute’s community to gain a deeper understanding of how to approach ‘Meelad Day’ meaningfully, particularly within the context of Sri Lanka.
‘Meelad Day’ holds a significant place in the hearts of Muslims and is recognised as a national holiday in Sri Lanka. Furthermore, it has consistently been marked as a significant occasion on the annual calendar of the Naleemiah Institute.
